Inviting the Hi-Tech Wild-Trek trailer to visit your local habitat is the ideal way to make the most of the biodiversity. With video equipment linked to microscopes and computer, the full range of plant and animal life can be displayed and recorded. Video tape, DVD, digitised images and colour print-outs can all be produced instantly. Nets, trays and pots are provided and the on-board biologist can give help with capturing and identifying wildlife. The large screen  display makes monsters out of your minibeasts.
• Full-day activity programme for schools

• Promoting public awareness of a local habitat

• Entertainment / attraction at public events/shows

• Quick record of biodiversity or in-depth habitat evaluation
The Hi-Tech Wild-Trek trailer has been touring the S.E. of England since 1997, visiting schools, nature reserves, and country shows. A  typical day visit in the SE of England costs approximately £300.  Other locations are not necessarily more expensive if multiple bookings can be achieved. We like to visit new places and so we are prepared to be flexible!

Current news
With the onset of Autumn, outings with the trailer will become fewer. Recent events have included the regular week at Cobham Hall in Kent working with Swedish schools and the Test Valley Woodfair which attracted 1800 people this year. Poole Harbour and Barcombe Mills, near Lewes will also be visited in September. Attention then will turn to utilising the HTWT video and images to make educational materials. We are also offering advice and practical help on pond maintenance as the Autumn pond tidying gets under way. If you would like to know more about this, visit our Surveys page.
