Inviting the Hi-Tech Wild-Trek trailer to visit your local habitat is the ideal way to make the most of the biodiversity. With video equipment linked to microscopes and computer, the full range of plant and animal life can be displayed and recorded. Video tape, DVD, digitised images and colour print-outs can all be produced instantly. Nets, trays and pots are provided and the on-board biologist can give help with capturing and identifying wildlife. The large screen display makes monsters out of your minibeasts.
The Hi-Tech Wild-Trek trailer has been touring the S.E. of England since 1997, visiting schools, nature reserves, and country shows. A typical day visit in the SE of England costs approximately £300. Other locations are not necessarily more expensive if multiple bookings can be achieved. We like to visit new places and so we are prepared to be flexible!

Preparations are in hand for getting the trailer out on the road. Our fist event will be the Dipping Deeper course that we are running at Testwood Lakes near Southampton. After that there will a wide range of visits throughout the spring. Our plans for 2010 include a system for rapid reporting of site visits and fitting a new camera for the close-up work . Given that there are going to financial constraints on many of our clients this year, we have frozen our basic charge although the travel supplement will depend on fuel prices. We have also signed up as a partner for the International Year of Biodiversity 2010.
