During the past 12 years of working with schools and at a variety of educational events, a large number of activity sheets have been devised. These are available to download as pdf files. Clients of Hi-Tech Wild-Trek may do so freely as can anyone who wants a few copies for personal use. If it is intended to reproduce large numbers for school use, it would be appreciated if a licence was purchased in accordance with the instructions below.

Clients of Hi-Tech Wild-Trek may download any material free of charge for use in connection with the visit of the Hi-Tech Wild-Trek trailer.
Other schools or groups wishing to produce class sets of these materials are asked to purchase a licence to do so. The licence is valid for 2 years and covers all of the downloadable material on this website. By purchasing this licence you will be assisting with the work of Roslyne Ecological in the enhancement of environmental education.
The cost of the licence is £10 for schools of less than 1000 pupils and £20 for schools of more than 1000 pupils. Please send a cheque payable to Roslyne Ecological to: Roslyne Eological, 13 Swanmore Park, Swanmore, Southampton, UK SO32 2QS.

Feeding relationships are the key to energy movement through any ecosystem. Webhex offers a straightforward way to investigate this aspect of a pond’s ecology and yet produce some quite sophisticated outcomes.
Packs of pre-printed Webhex cards carry an image of the plant or animal along with feeding information. This allows realistic food chains and food webs to be constructed using the members of the community that is being investigated.
The consequences of manipulating the ecosystem can also be tested.
Alternatively, blank Webhexes of a larger format can be used to accommodate pupils drawings or HTWT images grabbed on the site to prepare a wall display that documents the precise ecosystem being studied.
